Beach Style, a festival of sports which is the first of its kind in the region, is set to start on Thursday at the Jumeirah beach. Held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, the event run til January 23.
The festival consist of beach volleyball, beach football and free style competition. The UAE national team and individuals will take part in all competitions. Volleyball will see teams from around the world while football will have national teams from the Gulf.
It is sponsored by Touch Model and Event Management, The Walk, Coca Cola, Mini Cooper, Bayer Healthcare, Bic, Virgin Megastore, Red Bull, Aramex, Dubai Sports Channel, Enoc, Arwa and Sharjah Bank.
