London 2012 Olympics: Usain Bolt may try something new ‘to maintain interest’

Mothers the world over know best. Just ask Jennifer Bolt, the mother of Usain, the world's fastest man. Speaking in London , she said her son "might change things around a bit and try something new" for the 2012 Olympic Games.

The 400 metres might be an option, so too the long jump,she said, although switching to a field event was less likely than simply extending his long legs one lap of the track. But she knows that keeping Usain interested in the sport, giving him new challenges, is the key to his motivation. Mrs Bolt, a former runner herself at 100m, 200m and 400m, said she first realised Usain's brilliance when he won the world junior 200m title in 2002.

London 2012: Olympic gifts to be on sale by Christmas

Everything from coins to cushions, towels to train sets and vintage to modern goods, will hit the shops in time for Christmas 201O, London 2012 chief executive Paul Deighton said. The products are among the estimated 10,000 official items that will be on sale by 2012. Mr Deighton said: ''What I think is great is the quality of the products… as individual items quite independent to the fact that we have turbo-charged them with a London 2012 association.''

The merchandising surge will be in 2011 run-up to the Games, according to London 2012 organisers who are using it to help raise £2 billion towards staging the Games. Mascots Wenlock and Mandeville make leading appearances as toys and on keyrings, posters and stationery.

There is also a London 2012 Hornby train set – celebrating Olympic sports on one side of the train and Paralympic sports on the other. Next, the high street fashion chain, has released its first clothing collection including limited edition T-shirts, each individually numbered from 1 to 2,012.

Zara Phillips reveals her game plan for 2010 Olympics

Hoping to make her Olympic debut in 2012, Zara Phillips has revealed that she already has a strategy in place.

Rather than just competing with one horse, the 29-year-old royal has said she is looking at "two or three" in her bid to win a medal at the London Games.

Zara missed out on the chance to compete in Beijing in 2008 after her previous ride, Toytown, was injured two months before the start.

She has said that additional horses will act as a "back up plan" should the same thing happen again. "I have to find two or three horses that are of the right standard," said the reigning.

Pro wrestlers have had to deal with grueling work conditions since its conception. Many wrestlers are left with nagging injuries or worse when all is said and done. There have been many attempts to have a union formed but it has never panned out. In 2008 it seemed that may have all changed. This was in large part due to former WWE diva Dawn Marie. When she started started the foundation “Wrestlers Rescue”, many felt that she would make history by helping current and former stars in the business.

Sadly it looks as if this noble cause will turn out to be nothing more than a scam. It is now being reported that Dawn Marie is under investigation for embezzling the funds that she collected over the last couple of years. The money that has been raised to offer past and present wrestlers health care is now unaccounted for. According to Sun Writer Mike Aldren, Dawn Marie used the money to flow all over to conventions in order to make profits for herself. It is also being speculated that not a single wrestler has seen a dime. No one can seem to find any records of any organization getting money from the funds raised.

Here is a quote from Aldren on Irvin Muchnicks blog: "Nobody seems to know where all the money has gone nor has anyone seemingly benefited from the money that Dawn has raised over the past three years. Her former friends have told me she uses the money to fly herself to conventions around the country so she can profit from autograph signings. She has agreements with several promoters where if she flies herself in she will get a free table to sell her merchandise. When I started asking reasonable questions, Dawn set her attorney on me, who admits Wrestlers Rescue is not a registered charity.

However, like Tiffany, Maryse has not flouted the WWE's recent ban on nude photo shoots as the pictures were taken BEFORE she joined the wrestling group.Before Vince McMahon took his company PG, Divas including Sable and Torrie Wilson regularly appeared on the cover of Playboy.

The gorgeous blonde, who is currently general manager on WWE's ECW show, appears in the February/March 2010 Lingerie issue from Hugh Hefner's company. But SunSport can reveal the pictures were taken BEFORE the stunner joined Vince McMahon's wrestling promotion. In her previous career as a model, Tiffany posed frequently for Playboy under her real name Taryn Terrell.

Playboy own the copyright to all those snaps and have now published this set as a six-page pictorial. Once again under the name Taryn Terrell, the shoot starts with her modelling sexy undies, above, and ends with the Diva fully nude and leaning over a bed. The caption alongside the images reads: "Since you last saw me: I competed for a spot as a WWE Diva and ended up signing a developmental contract with them. I am now with Extreme Championship Wrestling, a division of the WWE, where I'm the general manager. "I'm passionate about: Raising money for abused and abandoned children. "Fun fact: I'm a vegan and choose not to eat anything with a face." There is no suggestion that Tiffany, engaged to Scottish grappler Drew McIntyre, was interviewed for the spread.

WWE Holding Another Round of TV Tapings Tonight
