Minor League baseball perfects the fine art of begging LeBron James
Eastlake Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, is not above begging LeBron James not to leave the Cavs (why should they be any different?). But their begging is more high profile than most, because they happen to have a Minor League Baseball team. The Lake County Captains (Single-A, Midwest League affiliate of the Indians) officially drop and grovel on Thursday with "Please Stay LeBron Night," highlighted by the team actually changing its name in honor of the Cavaliers' star.

That's the jersey they're going to wear, which I assume includes uniform pants with extra padding at the knees. Team press release:Minor League Baseball is used to groveling for fans, so this is nothing new. Witness the Oklahoma City RedHawks (Triple-A Pacific Coast League, Texas Rangers), who are offering James a chance to join their team tonight. From the Associated Press:
