Stone Cold and Other WWE Stars Discuss Brock Lesnar’s UFC 116 Victory
After witnessing one of their own turn the mixed martial arts world upside-down at UFC 116, Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com caught up with some of Brock Lesnar’s former professional wrestling colleagues as they expressed their joy for the Octagon’s undisputed king.
The stage was all set Saturday night. It was as though the WWE wrote the script and it miraculously appeared in UFC president Dana White’s Inbox. The contest was dubbed “The Biggest Battle in Heavyweight History” and the two behemoths didn’t disappoint.
It was the ultimate battle between Good vs. Evil, Pompous vs. Polite, Arrogant vs. Appreciative, etc. Adding more sizzle to the fire was the fact Lesnar was coming off a 12-month hiatus after his life-threatening bout with diverticulitis.
